A2 (Ａ２, Etū?), which stands for YoRHa Type A No.2 (ヨルハＡ型２号, Yoruha A-gata 2-gō?), is a guest character in Star Ocean: Anamnesis.

The tertiary protagonist from NieR: Automata, A2 is a prototype of the YoRHa android line, and combat data from her and her comrades was used to create the superior current lines, including 2B and 9S. A2 served during the early years of the 14th Machine War.

• The A in her full name ('YoRHa Type A No. 2') stands for "Attack". The shorter version ('A2') is a reference to the apocryphal last words of Julius Caesar "et tu, Brute?" ("and you, Brutus?") spoken to his traitorous friend Brutus as the latter stabbed him. This line was made famous by Shakespeare's play Julius Caesar, though it did not originate with it.
