Although the Diplo looks like an ordinary Diplomatic Flagship from the outside, it has been extensively modified with diverted military parts. It may be no match for a regular Battle-Class ship of the Pangalactic Federation, but it does boast firepower and defensive capabilities vastly superior to those of typical Spaceships, to the point that it was able to hold off an attack from a Vendeeni battleship, though not for long.
The Diplo comes to Elicoor II to bring Maria to meet Fayt and the others, but is stopped by a Vendeeni ship, the Dasvanu. Though the crew struggles to keep the Vendeeni at bay, they eventually buy enough time for Fayt and the others to be saved by the Federation battleship Aquaelie. The ship isn't seen until the ship comes to seek the team who need to leave Planet Styx and return to Elicoor II as soon as possible.
At the end Maria dissolves Quark, so what happens to the ship after this is unknown. She is most likely kept as a civilian ship.
A large ship used by the anti-Federation organization Quark as its flagship. Although the Diplo looks like an ordinary diplomatic flagship from the outside, it has been extensively modified with diverted military parts. Although it would be no match for a regular battle-class ship of the Pangalactic Federation, it does boast firepower and defensive capabilities that are vastly superior to those of typical spaceships. Although the Diplo is officially registered to Cliff, Cliff has preferred to use the Eagle ever since the organization obtained it, and these days Maria always commands the Diplo.
