Firestorm Blade is a recurring Special Art in the Star Ocean series. It is a skill from the Edarl Blade Arts that is learned by several protagonists, and involves charging the sword with flames for a quick attack.

Firestorm Blade exists in two variations. Roddick's version is a short range leaping two-slash attack that resembles a fire version of Double Slash. Cyuss and Ashlay's version is a long range wide slash that sends fire bolts outward in a wide burst.

A stronger version of this art is known as Omega Firestorm Blade.

Star Ocean: The Last HopeEdit

Ashlay Bernbeldt uses this technique when fought in the Tatroi Arena. Curiously, he uses Roddick's version from the original Star Ocean.
