Th Jewel of Refuge is a moderately common orb can be found around the Universe. The black crystal is perfectly circular and smooth and bears a blood red symbol at its core; it rests in comfort upon a plush, off-white pillow which sports four golden legs. It is unknown how exactly the orb works, but it is likely that it is a powerful Symbological artifact of some sort. This particular crystal--most likely through tits interior symbol's effect on Symbological Force--has the ability to exert its special phenomenon upon nearby creatures, forcing them to freeze in their movement for a short period of time before the stone's magic expires.
