Erys casts Southern Cross
Southern Cross is a recurring Symbology spell in the Star Ocean series. It is a high rank light-elemental symbol that summons the five stars that form the Southern Cross constellation to come crashing down upon all targets.
Appearances
Star Ocean: Fantastic Space Odyssey/First Departure
Erys Jerand joins the party with the Southern Cross spell learned and spends 40 MP to cast it.
Enemies such as Star Seraph or Grim Faerie also use Southern Cross.
Star Ocean: The Second Story/Second Evolution
Celine Jules learns Southern Cross at level 49, and spends 42 MP to cast it. She is also seen in the game main FMV opening casting this spell. It is star-elemental in The Second Story.
Enemies such as Gabriel also cast this spell.
Star Ocean: Till the End of Time
Sophia Esteed can learn Southern Cross through the Puzzling Scroll, while Adray Lasbard can learn it at level 40. It has a CP rating of 6 for both. It deals non-elemental damage and MP damage, and is one of Adray's best spells.

- One of Mavelle Froesson's special skills is called Southern Cross, although it is not the same as this spell.
