Stone Rain, also known as Rock Rain, is a recurring Symbology spell in the Star Ocean series. It's an earth-elemental Symbol which summons falling boulders upon the battlefield.

Both Ronyx J. Kenny and Ioshua Jerand can learn Stone Rain at level 46 and it requires 46 MP to be casted.

Star Ocean: The Second Story/Second EvolutionEdit

Noel Chandler can learn Stone Rain.

Star Ocean: Till the End of TimeEdit

"Rains down huge boulders that crush enemies."

When invoked, this symbol causes a rather large boulder to materialize above the target (most likely with the primary Earth Symbol) and then lightning begins to spark all around it (possibly utilizing a lightning symbol), causing it to fracture. This then causes the stone fragment to fall to the earth in a large, circular area with an epicenter based on its primary target.

Three characters can use Stone Rain in Till the End of Time. Fayt Leingod and Sophia Esteed learn Stone Rain at level 45, while Adray Lasbard can learn it at level 42. It has a CP rating of 6 for only Sophia and Adray alone though.

It is also used by enemies, such as Lenneth.

Star Ocean: The Last HopeEdit

Faize Sheifa Beleth learns Stone Rain at level 21. Arumat P. Thanatos knows it when he joins the party.
